Inside the card was the following poem, and the card was accompanied with a small punnet of mondo grass.

Children need a Daddy

For many, many things:

Like holding them high off the ground where the sunlight sings!

Please take this plant Dad to love like you do me,

We can watch it grow together, Just you wait and see!

You feed me and need me to teach you to play.

So smile because I Love You on this Fathers Day!
